Public commissions

This was Folke’s first decorative commission, a very large 200 x 570cms wall painting to enliven the works canteen on the theme of ‘The Midsummer Dance’. The work is oil on board, signed and dated 30 March 1944 and is now housed in the company’s museum.

This is a joyous, impressive and wonderful achievement.
