Bytorp 1965
For this modern church designed by Rolf Bergh and finished in 1971, Folke designed two huge stained glass windows placed either side of the altar.
He decided to make them using the new epoxy resin glues as an experiment. He did achieve notable colour harmonies, but this was his only venture into this technique as he was advised by Bogtman’s of Haarlem that the resin glues could become opaque with time. However, this has not happened with these particular windows.
Each window is comprised of 16 panels, measuring 53 x 64cms to symbolise “Growing” and “Flowing Water”.
